Will the Patriots make the Superbowl? That seems to be a question that we fluctuate on the answer week to week. Consistency seems to be a problem. The one x-factor if you will is that we have the greatest QB I'm history alongside a HOF coach that you know will at least have his team ready for each and every game unlike *cough* The Jets *cough*. So I can say pretty confidently, that we will make it there. Belichick and Brady will be playing with a fire under there ass not just to make up for last year BUT because the time window on these two legends of the game is closing...now or never. And I'm going with now. Arguments?

In what is already becoming one of the greatest trick plays to ever work, the Chicago Bears were amazingly had a teammate screw it up (surprised? you shouldn't be). A holding call was what made this punt return brought back and what left us viewers wondering how such a stupid and unnecessary penalty could erase a fantastic play. Luckily we have youtube and video recordings to jog our memory a bit. Enjoy this! I don't see it working too often.

Many of you may have heard of the tragedy that has fallen upon the hockey world. Members of the Kontinental Hockey League's Lokomotiv Yaroslavl were flying to Minsk for their season opener when their plane crashed soon after takeoff on Wednesday September 7th. Forty-three passengers died, including nearly all of Lokomotiv's players and coaching staff.

On September 8th, Dynamo Minsk players still came out onto the ice - not for a game, but to pay tribute to their fallen athletes, in front of stands packed with fans in mourning. The heartbreaking yet surreal footage of the ceremony can be found above. In a setting like this, we all speak the same language.

I have never had much respect for Rex Ryan, the coach of the New York Jets. From his off field antics (Feet fetish anyone?) to his ridiculous comments and promises, Ryan is an easy guy to hate. With that being said, the man isn't entirely dumb. He had some choice words about Bill Belichick, the revered coach of the New England Patriots, and they caught me off guard. See Ryan's words for yourself. Oh, and this is a good way for you to start learning what modesty is Eli Manning. Anyone getting sick of Eli jokes yet? Ya, I didn't think so.

In what is already becoming a running joke in the sporting world, Eli Manning has proclaimed to be in the same class as Tom Brady. You said what!? I'm not one to completely insult Eli Manning, he has been a respectable quarterback and has lived up to the Manning name and then some -- You know I'm joking right?...

The idea of a "Dream Team" in any athletic genre is thrilling. We as fans love to see a team that is destined to win, but there's a fine line between being respected competitors and being bullies. We also happen to love to hate the overpowered teams. And nothing can give us more happiness than to see a juggernaut team fall...

The NBA has decided to go NFL on us and perform a lockout of their own. The major difference between the two lockouts? The NBA lockout is due to the players making much more money than the league can afford, at least according to the league figure heads and owners. Owners are claiming losses of $300 million during last season alone, and while players recognize the reality of the monetary loses, they are disputing the true amount of those losses.

With the preseason officially started, the NFL looks to put the lockout drama behind it. We as fans might have already forgotten about it. I know watching the Patriots first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars might have been the first time that I actually realized how close we were to missing out on the great receptions, big hits, amazing plays and fantastic competitiveness...

When the infamous feet-loving Rex Ryan challenged the NFL to beat the Patriots, I couldn't help but laugh. A publicity stunt I'm sure, as most of Ryan's stunts are, it's still amusing how the Jets need help to knock off the reigning AFC East champions. And even if they don't need help, the way that people should view the request is simply that of a coward....
